Representing House District 22 would be an honor because it means problem solving on your behalf. During my grassroots efforts in advocating with legislators, it became clear to me that that process works the best when we are involved. Government doesn't work well without us, so it's my mission to involve all of you to assist in making the lives of Iowans better! My experience in conservative activism has prepared me for the journey to the Statehouse and I am ready to lead with boldness on your behalf!
As a conservative, my convictions are strong, grounded in God and I'm ready to take a stand for you. It will remain my goal to stand for truth.

When I think about a vision for Iowa, tackling education reform will be a top priority. It's time for an education revival!
Let's get back to basics in education by prioritizing academic needs of students and focus on reading, writing, spelling proficiency and teaching our kids to LOVE America.
Our education system should be focused on discovering and developing passions, teaching, and honing skills, and applying them in the real world and that’s done by getting back to teaching fundamentals. Common core is not producing proficient results. I will work on policies that continue to focus on all students reaching their potential through measurable objective achievements and expanding and enhancing the supply of creative education. That means removing cumbersome regulation for school startups and alternative learning models. The purpose of education should be more than an assembly line to a four-year institution. Too many educational standards are directed from the federal level and focus needs to return to objective achievement and grading, as opposed to subjective standards-based grading.
Let's grow the workforce. Iowa needs to continue as a national leader while always looking to strengthen our small businesses and encouraging the trades programs. This goes back to education and how we equip our youth with the skills and knowledge to embrace the trades as a career.
Let’s use government as a bridge to self-sufficiency. I would like to see programs rebuilt to connect those in need to community sources and become free of public assistance. And let's build up our family values.
How are tax reforms affecting Iowans? Let’s keep the momentum in Iowa to keep taxes low and spending responsible. We need to protect our Iowa seniors as costs surge from inflation.
I will always stand for the rights of unborn children. There is no right more sacred than life and nothing more worthy of our strongest defense of the unborn. Raise pro-life children by educating our youth to love them both!
As a constitutionalist, free speech and the right to bear arms are always a priority, and I will stand for their protection.
